The Broadband Operators customer segment is principally aimed at Internet suppliers and suppliers of Internet based telephony but also to companies that are looking to develop and sell digital services on the international market. Customers in this area include some of the largest telecom companies, major energy groups such as Hafslund and more local power companies like Ulricehamns Energi and Agder Energi.

Other actors that are creating operator like structures are property owners. As regards the handling of media services, the twenty largest telecom operators in Scandinavia are integrated with BRIKKS. These include operators such as Telia, Telenor and TDC. Even a number of innovative Internet-based services use business support systems from Labs². Two examples of these are Tryggare.net who offer an innovative camera based surveillance service and RELAKKS who offer a very secure Internet connection for consumers who want to protect themselves from bugging and censorship. RELAKKS has attracted a lot of international attention and has end users throughout the world. Strong markets in the Middle East, Asia and the US.

In the operator segment, the demand for supplying several services to the same household is growing rapidly. This is to create synergies in the form of revenue from several services but with costs for only one infrastructure and customer service. The clearest example is when the same actor offers Internet, telephony and media services (TV and film).
